Development and present situation of Mountain rescue service

Title: Development and present situation of Mountain Rescue Services Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to give an overview about historical development of Mountain Rescue Services in Czech Republic and to depict the most important milestones, which influenced the following events. In detailed way will be outlined the activity of Mountain Rescue Services at present time. Methods: For the bachelor thesis will be used collecting, sorting and interpreting of information. Based on exploration of facts will be reached the goal, which was set for this thesis. Results: Results of thesis confirm the longtime tradition and rich experiences of Mountain Rescue Services in Czech Republic, what became as a good base for functioning of organisation at present. It can be said that members of Mountain Rescue Services are ready and equipped to provide rescue under all conditions. Title: First ascent in Big Wall The sumary: This thesis is devoted to rock-climbing and especially to unique big wall climbing. This thesis is focused on a special discipine of the climbing Big Walls - first ascent. It should provide complete strategy and technique of big wall rock-climbing. It consists of history of Big Wall climbing, basic equipment, technique, tactics, methods of first ascent and many other specific aspects. History of mauntain rescue service

Summary The aim of this thesis is to describe the history and development of the Mountain service in Czech countries as well as in available archives look for documents giving evidence of its history and development. Another target is to point out the associations connected with the mountain terrain or associated with the origin of the Mountain service. Another goal was to monitor the development of the symbol, membership cards and technology which was or stil is used by the Mountain service. The thesis also contains an overview of commencement of rescue associations in selected European countries where the organized rescue of people in mountain terrain has a similar period of origin and similar circumstances. Those organizations, which mostly helped to create mountain rescue service, were Alpine clubs, tourist clubs, conservationists or gymnastic associations. From the territorial prospective we speak about Austria, Germany, France and Italy. From the time point of view the formation of rescue service dates from the middle of the 19th century. The greatest reason for an increasing amount of people (tourists) coming to the mountain terrain in Europe was mostly the scientific-technical progress in the second half of the 19th century. Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia

TITLE: Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this thesis was to determine the number of elementary and secondary schools in South Bohemia, they're using wall climbing in physical education lesson. How many schools owns a climbing wall and what's they're material equipment. METHODS: This thesis is made up as a research with survey and questionnaire methods. First of all it was made the survey to determine, which schools are using wall climbing in physical education lesson. Then to this schools was sent the questionnaire with fourteen questions about the wall, lessons and material equipment. The data were processed in statistical program Excel and presented with the help of created graphs. RESULTS: This work shows actual state of using wall climbing in elementary and secondary schools. In South Bohemia makes this 16 schools of the total number of 378, witch represents a little bit more than 4%. Further it was investigated the method of inlusion this activity straight in to the physical education lessons and material equipment that each of this school owns. The impact of selected nodes on strength of flat slings under static load

Název práce Vliv vybraných uzlů na pevnost ploché šité smyčky při statickém zatížení. Cíle práce Cílem práce je posoudit pevnost plochých šitých smyček při statickém zatížení a vliv uzlů na snížení jejich pevnosti. Metody Zpracovávaná studie je designována jako dvoufaktorový experiment, při kterém zkoumáme vliv použitých uzlů na pokles nominální pevnosti u dvou typů smyček. Měření bylo prováděno na horizontálním trhacím stroji. Byly vybrány smyčky materiálu dyneema, polyamid a nejčastěji používané uzly (vůdcovský, osmičkový a devítkový). Výsledky Větší pevnosti dosáhly smyčky materiálu Polyamid 26,0 ± 1,1 kN a pevnosti v průřezu 1,3 kN na 1 mm2 . Smyčky materiálu dyneema dosáhli pevnosti 25,1 ± 0,9 kN a pevnosti v průřezu 1,3 kN na 1 mm2 . Na smyčce materiálu polyamid nejméně snižoval pevnost vůdcovský uzel. Smyčka praskla při tažné síle 17,4 ± 0,7 kN. U dyneemy to byl uzel osmičkový s hodnotami 12,2 ± 0,8 kN. Závěr Pro použití smyček v kombinaci s uzly bychom mohli doporučit materiál polyamid, kde uzel snižuje méně nominální pevnost než u dyneemy. Climbing and mountaineering in contemporary Czech marketing campaigns

Objectives: Bachelor thesis concentrates on climbing and mountaineering theme in contemporary Czech marketing campaigns. The main target is to retrace the frequency and the form in which the investigated topic appears in the media and other marketing tools of internal and external communications. We will also try to determine the motivation of companies to use this theme for self-promotion and to compare it with the motivations of climbers and mountaineers, which leads them to carry out the activity. Methods: The survey was based on semi-structured interviews managed together with an analysis of printed and electronic documents. Another data was obtained from the database of media and sports agencies. Participants were representatives of advertising agencies and marketing managers of outdoor and non-outdoor companies that used the topic in their promotion. The key campaigns took place in 2010 - 2014. Results: We assume that the main motivation for companies to use mountaineering and climbing motive for brand promotion are specific personality of climbers themselves, not the activity.
